Youths of Church-Gemeinde Brunow take an exiting journey
On a three-day weekend in October of 2004, 15 youths of church-gemeinde Brunow traveled an exciting journey of discovery which would help them to learn more about themselves and their potential capabilities. The event, which was organized and executed by church-gemeinde Brunow's pastor Silke Maier, with assistance from Harald Meyer of the "Amt für Kinder und Jugendliche"(office for children and youth) in Parchim, was designed to give the youths the experience of learning and receiving recognition for their efforts.

The young people lived for two nights like a large family in the old school where they learned skills such as working with each other. They also learned and practiced the manual dexerity skills of acrobatics, working with rings, balls, plates, wheels and towels.
A joint church service for the church-gemeinde Brunow was held on Sunday morning. The service included a performance of the story of David which required little assistance from Pastor Silke Maier. After the break came the great performance. There were many parents and grand-parents who would not miss the Circus performances.

Was the goal sucessfully accomplished?
Yes - The answer could be seen on the beaming proud faces of the young participants: "I can do it, and I am outstanding".
